    Do you love to sing? Have you always wanted to be in a band? All About Music’s successful Rock Band Program has expanded to include singers in K-4th grade. You will be taught about singing and performing on stage by professional musicians in the industry. All equipment included-just bring your talent!

    NOTE: The final class will be held the evening of July 27 at All About Music in Mokena.

    Camp concludes with an afternoon performance at Proud American Days with professional sound and lights on Saturday, July 28 from 1:00pm-2:30pm.

This class is ideal for teaching our youngest students to code. The best part about it is that it requires absolutely no reading skills. Kids propel the little fuzz balls through the maze using various commands that are introduced over the course of the game. Learn to identify code as a language and how to apply algorithms to complete computational tasks. Kids will practice programming in a fun way, play coding board game and programming our Coddie robot to do anything from reacting to the sound of a clap to performing a victory.

    11124 - Week of Code

    Prepare your child for a 21st Century World! Every parent today wants their kids to learn how to interact with technology in a healthy way. Week of Code summer mini-camp does just that. This class is specifically created for younger students who aren't quite ready for all the typing that "regular" programming entails, but really want to get started learning to code! Students will drag-and-drop "program blocks" to build up instructions - allowing them to focus more on their goals than on hunting for the right key. At Week of Code, campers will learn by doing fun projects. Kids will design and develop animated stories and mobile apps, play coding board games and program our Coddie the robot. Week of Code boosts creativity, logical thinking skills and brain power. This mini-camp is kept small to ensure everyone gets focused attention.

    Join us as we embark on this highly unique "Urban Safari" designed to examine some of the historical wonders and architectural gems scattered across the city. The tour route will showcase all the Chicago River and downtown "Loop" has to offer. On this highly unique tour our guests will hear captivating stories about the city’s rich history, view and learn about some of Chicago’s most iconic architecture and artwork, stroll the "Loop" while listening to heartrending stories of some of the city’s worse disasters and experience the newly expanded Chicago River Walk that opened in 2017. Following the tour, we will head over to Greektown for the 29th annual Taste of Greektown. Hellenic pride will take center stage with this acclaimed culinary fest on Halsted Street. Taste of Greektown is a romantic weekend celebration for lovers of Mediterranean culture. Blending Old World traditions with a 21st century freshness, the tantalizing food and spirits from neighborhood eateries will again be the main attraction. Please note this is a walking tour.

    12176 - Mini Okinawan Karate

    This is a foundational karate course taught by an AKA certified senior student of Carroll’s Martial Arts, focused on building self-discipline, gross motor skills, eye-hand coordination, balance and the flexibility necessary for learning any martial art. This class also helps students build self-confidence to enhance physical fitness and self-control. Please wear loose fitting clothing to class. Uniforms are optional until Pee-Wee Level 2 and full Gi is required at PW 4 and may be purchased from the instructor when needed. There will be a nominal fee for optional belt testing and certificates. The instructor will discuss this on the first day of class.

    12178 - Pee-Wee Okinawan Karate

    This is a foundational karate course taught by an AKA certified senior student of Carroll’s Martial Arts, focused on building self-discipline, gross motor skills, eye-hand coordination, balance and the flexibility necessary for learning any martial art. This class also helps students build self-confidence to enhance physical fitness and self-control. Please wear loose fitting clothing to class. Uniforms are optional until Pee-Wee Level 2 and full Gi is required at PW 4 and may be purchased from the instructor when needed. There will be a nominal fee for optional belt testing and certificates. The instructor will discuss this on the first day of class.
