    20141 - T-Ball Time

    T-Ball Time will feature parent/child introduction in T-Ball basics such as base running, field positions, batting and sportsmanship.     20303 - Kick Start Soccer League

    This program cannot run without the help of volunteer coaches. Soccer provides your son/daughter the opportunity to have fun while learning the skills of running, kicking and teamwork. All games are one hour and teams will play one game every Sunday. The first day of the league will be a practice day only. After the first week, teams will practice for fifteen minutes before each game. Everyone plays! Game times are random each week. Team requests are not permitted. Team requests are not permitted. Registratoin deadline is Wednesday, August 15 (this date guarantees T-Shirt size).

    20320 - Pee-Wee Bumper Bowling

    Help your little ones learn the game and experience a family activity. All participants will be paired with 3-4 children per lane. Bumper Bowling is the perfect way to introduce your child to a new activity with his/her peers. Please register at the Park District Office.     22111 - Kids First Flag Football

    This non-competitive football program teaches player position fundamentals preparing their bodies to play flag and tackle football. Football has 22 positions, excluding special team players, which take time to learn and understand its purposes. This program allows players to learn at a slower pace with a more in-depth understanding of how to play each position. The more a player learns, the more confident they become during future flag football games.

    Rugby continues to grow in popularity and is expanding to include 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders. Rookie Rugby is a new course that will introduce rugby skills through fun activities and games. The program will be taught by USA Rugby certified coaches from the South Suburban Rugby Club and will be fast-paced and involve lots of running, passing, decision-making and teamwork.

This class also helps students build self-confidence to enhance physical fitness and self-control. Please wear loose fitting clothing to class. Uniforms are optional until Pee Wee Level 2 and full Gi is required at Pee Wee Level 4 and may be purchased from the instructor when needed. PLEASE NOTE: You must register at least 7 days before the beginning of the class or the class may be cancelled. With continued enrollment, your child will have the opportunity to advance through four Mini Ranks and nine Pee Wee Ranks earning a certificate at each level and a pin or belt at Pee Wee Level 1. New students are welcome as well as continuing students who are working on their Mini 1, 2, 3 or 4 ranks.

    We have joined with FlipStar to offer gymnastics classes! Their coaching staff is dedicated to teaching your child gymnastics and social skills in a fun, safe and positive learning environment. The program attire recommended for girls include a leotard with any long hair tied in a ponytail. For boys, a T-shirt and shorts are recommended. No gym shoes, jeans, jewelry or tights. Register at the Park District Office for reduced rates. The structure of this class will expose young gymnasts to basic gymnastics skills while building confidence, independence and learning skills. For most young gymnasts, this is their first experience without supervision. The one-hour class will follow a circuit format, while learning skills such as rolls, cartwheels, strength and flexibility. Coaches are patient and correct with positive reinforcement.

    Early start times and Saturday games may be scheduled if needed for make-ups.

    Registration begins Monday, August 20 at the Administration Building and Lions Community Center. You are able to register at any time during regular business hours.

    Early bird registration starts Monday, August 20 at $145/LWR • $165/ Non-LW Resident
    Late registration starts Monday, September 17 at $195/LWR • $215/ Non-LW Resident

    Non-Lincoln-Way residents are required to pay an additional $20 per child.

    Games begin Sunday, December 2, 2018 and end Sunday, February 24, 2019 (Skip 12/23, 12/30 & 2/3)
    • Early start times and Saturday games may be scheduled if needed for make-ups.

    Registration begins Monday, August 20 at the Administration Building and Lions Community Center. You are able to register at any time during regular business hours.

    Early bird registration starts Monday, August 20 at $145/LWR • $165/ Non-LW Resident
    Late registration starts Monday, September 17 at $195/LWR • $215/ Non-LW Resident

    Non-Lincoln-Way residents are required to pay an additional $20 per child.

    Registration is not guaranteed as this league can reach a maximum.

    28333 - PreSeason Fall Basketball

    This fall league will give your child the opportunity to improve his/her skills before moving to the Recreational Basketball League. This league is designed for the player that just wants to get out and play. Each week a basic skill will be taught and then games will be played. This is meant to be a learning opportunity mixed with game play.
